OTS Media Captures History at FIFA World Cup Toronto with French Montana
On Sunday, June 14, OTS Media found itself in the middle of one of Toronto's biggest cultural moments of the decade.
As the FIFA World Cup festivities took over the city, our team was on-site providing behind-the-scenes content, backstage coverage, and live event documentation for international recording artist French Montana during his highly anticipated performance in Toronto.
And although the rain came down, the energy never stopped.
The crowd stayed engaged, the music continued, and the performance went on—proving once again that world-class events aren't defined by perfect conditions, but by unforgettable moments.
For OTS Media, this wasn't simply another production shoot. It was another example of what happens when a company becomes deeply embedded in culture.
Over the years, OTS Media has built relationships across Toronto's ecosystem of celebrities, event organizers, festival producers, PR agencies, influencers, founders, community leaders, and C-suite executives. Those relationships continue to place us where culture is being created, not where it's being observed.
The FIFA World Cup has transformed Toronto into a global destination this summer. Toronto is hosting six official World Cup matches while the FIFA Fan Festival is expected to attract up to 20,000 visitors per day throughout the tournament, bringing hundreds of thousands of fans, tourists, media professionals, and decision-makers into the city. Match days alone are expected to draw more than 45,000 spectators per game.
Being part of moments like French Montana's performance is exactly how OTS uses culture to elevate brands—embedding them into the experiences, conversations, and communities that drive attention, trust, and growth.
We believe brands grow when they become part of culture. Not by talking at audiences, but by showing up where conversations are already happening. The strongest brands don't interrupt attention—they earn it by becoming part of the experience.
And the story isn't over.
There are still major FIFA World Cup matches taking place in Toronto:
• Wednesday, June 17 — Ghana vs. Panama (7:00 PM ET)
• Saturday, June 20 — Germany vs. Côte d'Ivoire (4:00 PM ET)
• Tuesday, June 23 — Panama vs. Croatia (7:00 PM ET)
• Friday, June 26 — Senegal vs. Iraq (3:00 PM ET)
• Thursday, July 2 — Group K Runner-up vs. Group L Runner-up (Round of 32)
For brands looking to activate, create content, host experiences, or connect with audiences during one of the largest sporting events in the world, there is still time to be part of the action.
History is happening in Toronto right now.
The question is whether your brand will be watching from the sidelines or standing in the middle of it.
For us, the experience was unforgettable. We loved every minute of it—from the rain-soaked crowds to the backstage moments and the energy that only a city like Toronto can create. It's always a privilege to be outside, in the community, connected to the heartbeat of the city and documenting the moments that people will be talking about for years to come.
This is where culture lives.
And this is where OTS Media shows up.
